Can God and Science Co-exist?

We believe God and Science can co-exist and as time goes on we are discovering many archaeological finds that confirm God's Word as historical fact. The basic problem with the scientific community is that their foundation rests upon a belief that God does not exist, at least for the majority. So even after some very recent discoveries, the faint in heart will simply not believe even with evidence and/or proof. This is not a scientific issue, but rather an issue of the heart, or lack of faith.

Example: Recently a group of divers in the Red Sea discovered what looks like Chariot Wheels at the bottom which would verify the Exodus and the crossing of the Red Sea with Moses. The majority of the scientific community excuses this find due to their unbelief. Even if the artifact were recovered and placed in a museum, many will still not believe, because their heart is filled with disbelief from the start, and simply do not want to believe.

Example: A few years back Noah's Arc was discovered and with advanced scanning equipment, wood and metals were found along with the dimensions mentioned in the book of Genesis. Once again, unbelief. Even if the boat was recovered, brought to Boston Harbor for display, still, many will not believe. It is a condition of the heart, not any lack of scientific evidence.

Here are a few more scientific facts that were revealed many years before science discovered them.

​

1)  The Bible revealed the earth was round in 700 B.C. (Isaiah 40:22)

2)  The Bible revealed radio waves in 1500 B.C. 3,300 years before we

     discovered them in 1864. (Job 38:35)

3)  The Bible revealed in 1500 B.C. how critical the washing of hands is with

     "running water" to avoid diseases. (Leviticus 15:13). This could have saved

     millions of lives during the black plague and throughout the ages.

4)  The Bible talked about hot water vents on the ocean floors in 1520 B.C.

     over 3400 years before deep sea diving became available. (Job 38:16)

5)  The Bible revealed in 1000 B.C. the Correlation of Mind and Body between

     a person's mental and physical health. (Proverbs 14:30, 15:30, 16:24, 17:22)

6)  The Bible explained Meteorological Laws in 975 B.C. (Ecclesiastes 1:6)

7)  The Bible in 1925 B.C. instructs that male babies are to be circumcised on

     the eighth day (Genesis 17:12) of which medical science has now discovered

     that this is the best day medically for the procedure to to be done.

8)  Time Magazine, December 18th, 1995 confirmed the Archaeological find of

     a stone containing the inscriptions "House of David" and "King of Israel"

     dated to the 9th Century B.C., confirming the history of David in the Bible.

9)  Scientists have discovered that the Universe is Expanding as the Bible

     revealed in 1060 B.C. from Psalm 104:2, "who stretchest out the heavens

     like a curtain"

10) The Bible predecited nuclear weapondry in 67 A.D. See II Peter 3:10-12.
