Signs of the Times/Prophecy

The "Signs of the Times" are everywhere, both in the church and in the world of political change. We shall discuss events relating to bible prophecy and prophesied upcoming events according to the scriptures. Get your King James Bible out!

The reason we ask you to use a King James Version is that prophecy can at times seem to be difficult for some, and when opening the scriptures we must be in unison and make sure we all are reading the same thing. Example....

"The black horses which are therein go forth into the north

country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled

go forth toward the south country."

                                                                                  Zechariah 6:6 KJV

The King James Version has the black horses and the white horses both going north, but all modern versions say the white horses went west. An obvious error on account of the modern translators. Knowing the difference between north and west is very critical, especially when dealing with bible prophecy. Another example is found in the Gospel of Mark.

" As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger

before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. The

voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the

                        Lord, make his paths straight."

                                                                                            Mark 1:2-3 KJV

The King James Version says "prophets", plural, for Mark is quoting both Malachi 3:1, and Isaiah 40:3, clarifying these two verses have two separate prophets involved. The N.I.V. version along with most modern versions throw a monkey wrench at this prophecy as follows....

"As it is written in Isaiah the prophet: “I will send my messenger ahead of you,

who will prepare your way” “a voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare

the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him". Mark 1:2-3 (NIV)

Isaiah never quoted "I send my messenger" Malachi did, thus the proper rendering is in the King James Version, thus showing us that there are two prophets involved, not just Isaiah. You may ask why is this important? Well, if in simple matters like these, especially when dealing with prophets, prophecy, and even the direction of horses, it is critical to have the Authorized King James Version on hand. More on this in our KJV page and Textual Criticism pages, for we want to stay on the tracks here. We are going to discuss future prophetic events yet to take place and in chronological order as to better understand what the scriptures teach us on end time prophecy.

Below is an order of events present and to take place in order based on scripture. We will first number them and then further expound on them below.
